Outstanding Success at the 2026 ZAMREN Student Hackathon

We are immensely proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at the 2026 ZAMREN Student Hackathon, held in Livingstone.

Their remarkable performance demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical expertise, teamwork and problem-solving ability. By developing innovative solutions to national challenges, the students showed their potential to contribute meaningfully to Zambia’s digital future.

Competing against talented teams from other institutions, our students secured first place in both competition categories:

1st Place: ZCAS University
2nd Place: Mulungushi University

AgriTech Solutions Category

1st Place: ZCAS University
2nd Place: University of Lusaka

Special recognition also goes to the students from all participating institutions, whose talent, creativity and competitive spirit made the hackathon both inspiring and memorable.
