Culture Day celebrations 2026
ZCAS University commenced its Culture Day celebrations with a spirited march-past, where students proudly paraded in rhythm and colour in a vibrant salute to tradition and unity.
The festivities continued with a dazzling runway show, where diverse cultures were celebrated through traditional attire and creative expressions, reinforcing the theme of unity in diversity.
We were honoured to host His Royal Highness Chief Bunda Bunda of the Soli people as Guest of Honour, who emphasized the importance of embracing diversity while preserving cultural heritage.

Professor Edwin Benkele, Vice Chancellor, highlighted ZCAS University’s remarkable strides as it approaches its 10th anniversary including:
- First place in two categories at the 2026 ZAMREN Student Hackathon in Livingstone
- Second place in the ZRA Know Your Tax quiz competition
- Recognition of the ZCASU School of Law as the best upcoming law school
Representing the Executive Director, Dr. Egret C. Lengwe, remarks underscored the importance of fostering a unified culture and community.
We were further honoured by the presence of representatives from the Embassies of Nigeria, Congo DR and Rwanda, a true testament to the spirit of international friendship and collaboration.
Cultural Day 2026 was not only a celebration of heritage, but also a showcase of ZCAS University’s growing impact and excellence.
