Ernest is a lecturer in the School of Business with extensive experience as a seasoned bank examiner and inspector, along with being a certified income tax expert. His industry background encompasses roles such as Senior Financial Stability Expert and Bank Inspector/Financial Analyst at the Bank of Zambia, as well as Inspector of Taxes at the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA). Ernest has served as a consultant in credit rating, company valuations, microfinance, and expertise in banking and finance. He holds professional certifications from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System of the United States of America, with training in bank management, bank examinations, risk management, Basel II and III, AML/FATF compliance, among others. His research interests primarily focus on bank performance and modern finance theory.
