Miss Prudence Chilufya Kalunga is a Software Engineer with expertise in various programming languages and technologies. She serves as a lecturer in the School of Computing, Technology, and Applied Science, where she imparts her experience in teaching programming courses. Possessing strong research skills, she can conduct independent research and contribute to academic publications, having published several research papers in reputable journals and conferences, with aspirations for further contributions. Miss Kalunga has conducted research internationally and locally in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, IoT, computer vision, and software engineering. Additionally, she has supervised undergraduate students from various academic programs and served as an expert judge on ZICTA’s yearly innovation programs, mentoring innovators. Currently pursuing her PhD in Computer Science and her second master’s degree in data science, she aims to continue advancing knowledge and skills in data science and computer science through academic pursuits, with a focus on inspiring and mentoring future generations of software engineers and data scientists.
