Dr Aaron Zimba currently serves as the Dean of the School of Computing, Technology, and Applied Sciences, bringing a wealth of expertise in the computing and information technology sectors. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science, he possesses extensive experience both domestically in Zambia and internationally. With over 14 years dedicated to academia, Dr. Zimba has excelled in lecturing and academic administration across various curricula. He is esteemed as a seasoned academic, evidenced by a robust research portfolio with publications featured in prestigious platforms such as Web of Science and IEEE. As a fellow of the ICT Association of Zambia (ICTAZ), Dr. Zimba actively contributes to the field, serving as a journal editor and reviewer for numerous SCI journals. Engaged in ongoing research activities, he supervises postgraduate students with interests spanning network and information security, crypto virology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
