Dr. Mildred Chuunga Muhyila

Dr. Mildred Muhyila began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Zambia, laying a strong foundation in information management and research. Her career took a pivotal turn when she served as a Librarian at ZCAS, where she recognized the influential role of law in shaping society. This realization led her to pursue further studies, culminating in a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Zambia. Transitioning from her role as a Librarian to that of a Lecturer, Dr. Muhyila continued her academic pursuit and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a specialization in Commercial and Corporate Law from the University of Lusaka (UNILUS). Currently serving as a Lecturer in the School of Law, she furthered her academic achievements by obtaining a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. Dr. Muhyila’s commitment to academic excellence is evidenced by her collaborative research activities, including the publication of several jointly authored journal articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, her involvement in the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) Journal Editorial Team highlights her dedication to contributing to the academic discourse in the legal field.
