AIM:
The aim of the Bridging Course in Data Science is to provide students from non-computing backgrounds with the foundational knowledge, technical skills, and analytical mindset required to successfully transition into the Master of Science in Data Science program. The course is designed to bridge the gap by introducing essential concepts in programming, data analysis, statistics, and computational thinking, ensuring students can confidently engage with advanced data science topics. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and practical application, the program empowers learners to develop the competencies needed to thrive in the data-driven world, fostering both academic success and career readiness
ADMISSION CRITERIA:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized institution.
- Qualifications other than the Zambian School Certificate or Cambridge Overseas School Certificate or the General Certificate of Education may be accepted provided they are approved as equivalent by the Senate and Examinations Council of Zambia.
DURATION OF STUDY:
The Bridging Course Certificate in Data Science shall be completed in a period of not less than 6 months (1 Semester).
